It is with great pride that we inform you that the student
fraternity of the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati will be
organizing thesixteenth edition of its annual techno-management festival,
Techniche which is scheduled to be held from 4th to the 7th
of September, 2014.
Techniche hosts the biggest Lecture Series and the most inspiring Industrial
Conclave. This year, our fest will graced by keynote speakers
like Christer Fuglesang, the man with two space shuttle missions and five
space walks to boast of and Casey Hudson, the Project Director of Star Wars.
The conclave provides you the platform to learn from the likes of Arun Iyer,
the mastermind behind ’WHAT AN IDEA SIRJI’ for Idea and ‘DAAG ACCHE HAIN’ for
Surf Excel and Marten Pieters, MD and CEO, Vodafone India.
Techniche also organizes the Guwahati Half Marathon and various Initiatives
like Social 360 and our nationwide campaign, "Wake Up and Vote".
Apart from these we also have events under our pre-defined module wherein the
problem statements are given before hand and aprticipants are expected to come
here at Techniche and grab the chance to win amazing prizes.
The Corporate events designed to test your business acumen and boost the
entrepreneurial spirit amongst the youth through the Startup Showcase and many
more competitions. Robotic Competitions, a one of its kind platform for all the
tech- savvy students out there where you get to show off your skills and win
prizes worth Rs. 3 Lakhs.
