Entrepreneurship Event By PEC

PEC Chandigarh is organizing an Entrepreneurship Event with a cash prize of Rs. 35000/-from 18-20 April 2014. Details are as under :-

B-PLAN COMPETITION The Business Plan Competition brings the opportunity for the budding entrepreneurs from all over the country to turn their ideas into a real enterprise .It will give the participants a chance to be mentored by some of the best angel investors and venture capitalists of India. The competition has been structured in a way to prepare the participants to be able to raise funds for their start up right from writing a business plan to pitching in front of the team of venture capitalists and investors. Cash Prize up to Rs 35,000 up in grabs. 1. Once registered, you can proceed forward by submitting your entries of the Executive Summary of the b-plan. We intend to explore the dynamics of the business environment and examine the different facets of business that would be relevant towards India's transformation from an emerging economy to a global leader. WORKSHOPS The workshops and lectures will complement the events in the sense that these hopes to impart to the participants the kind of training that would help them later in their ventures.

18th April’14  3pm- 5pm - Workshop on Bplan presentation and what investors look when they are looking at a bplan  5.30pm-7pm -Interaction with other teams participating  19th April’14  9am-11am - Lecture on  How to manage ur finances and what legal procedures have to be followed for registering your company  11am-3pm -Interaction with the mentors to refine the ideas before the final presentation.  4pm-6pm -Basic App development workshop for entrepreneurs  6pm-7pm- Basic wordpress web development for entrepreneurs  20th April’14  9am-11am - Lecture on Marketing/Sales strategies to be followed for launching a product  2pm-5pm - Pitching of the ideas/plan before investors  The teams can still participate for the event if they have the ideas /plans  They can send us a brief idea about the plans on what are they planning to do  The next process of shortlisting will be carried on 19th April after the final mentoring round
